How to check your contributory career?

Consult your discounts for Social Security? See how to do it.

If you need to obtain a statement of your discounts or just want to confirm the recorded values, you can access your contributory history without leaving your home.

According to Social Security, cited in the News at the Moment, it is no longer necessary to go to a service counter to obtain this information. Just follow these steps:

Access the portal of Social Security Direct.

No menu, select Employment >> Remuneration >> Contributory Career.  

Consult your discounts or obtain an official statement with your records.

What can be consulted in the contributory career?

When entering the contributory career section, you will see how many years and wages are registered. To check the details, just select the option "Consult Career".  

If you need an official document, you can choose "Get Career Statement" on the right side of the screen. A PDF will be generated with all the information regarding your Social Security contributions.

And if there are errors in the records?

If you detect any incorrect information or missing discount periods, you can request a review of your contributory career.  

Social Security recommends regularly confirming your records to ensure everything is correct and up to date. It is essential to avoid problems in the future, especially when applying for social benefits or retirement.
