Can taxes be paid partially? The Tax Authority explains.
According to the Tax and Customs Authority (AT), the answer is yes. It is possible to request partial payment of a tax, through the Finance Portal.
Until the deadline of the payment note, you can make partial payments. To do so, you must log in to the Portal das Finanças and make the request through your taxpayer account.
So, log in to the Portal using your credentials - Tax Identification Number (NIF/contributor number), access 'Financial Movements', and then, 'Request Partial Payment'.
